Process:
1. Use a browser to go to http://computer.howstuffworks.com/osi.htm
2. List the layers in the OSI model and define each layer (in your own words, do not simply copy from the website above).
3. You should be able to type at least a short paragraph on each one, interpreting what you are reading, not simply copying.
4. This will be added to your exam #2 score if submitted prior to the exam (see lesson plan), if not turned in I will deduct 7 points from your exam grade (1 point for each layer).
5. Be sure to include your name, class (cnm 110-01 or cnm 110-W1), label each layer properly (go by order on web site, layer 1 name should correspond to layer 1 name on site).
