TASK 2
Design a CD cover in Photoshop. The artist and title may be real or fictitious. This file has to be 5 inches x 5 inches in size with a resolution of 300 dpi/ppi. Use a minimum of 5 elements in your design. Your finished piece should contain a combination of images and text. You might like to scan some images or use your own pictures or ones you find on the Internet that you can exract elements from (if the photo is not large enough for this image without having to re-scale it then don’t use it). Your finished CD cover should contain AT LEAST the following elements:
Text
Images
Layer Styles
Filter Effects

Some type of Masking Technique (see your book or ask me if you are having trouble with this one)
Please do not flatten your image. Save the image as task2.psd inside your task2 folder as well as any and all materials you used in this project. The following is a decent example of a CD cover (Remember a CD cover could be for music or tutorial magazine as is shown here).

Please remember that these images will be presented to the class so make sure that the subject matter is appropriate and not offensive.
